Privacy

Short and honest

This site belongs to Studio Waar Jan van Hout (Dutch Chamber of Commerce 89505425), Rotterdam. Questions about your data: hello@waarjanvanhout.nl.

What this site doesn't do

No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no forms. Fonts and videos are served from our own server; your browser talks to nobody else.

What it does

If you send an email, I have your name, email address and what you write. I use it only to reply and, where relevant, to work together. I keep it while we're in touch and for at most two years after, unless the law (such as tax record-keeping for an assignment) requires longer.

Who else sees it

The site runs at Hetzner (Germany), email runs through Microsoft 365. Both process only what's needed to make that work. I don't sell or share anything with anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Email me and I'll handle it within a month. Not satisfied? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
